Vesetas Street and the neighbourhood has many cafes, among which everyone can find what is most suitable for their taste. One of these is the small kebab shop “Reigys Ausmeņa Kebabs”, which has been on the quiet street of Skolas since 2017.

Valters Murāns, the founder of “Reigys Ausmeņa Kebabs”, says that the beginnings of this kebab are in Latgale. He admits with great pleasure that thanks to the good feedback from people “Ausmeņa Kebabs” has also gained great popularity in Riga. The interior design is deliberately made simple, it is more about the taste and quality of the food itself. The fact that people appreciate the quality of their food is demonstrated by the huge crowd both on weekends and on business days.

Valters reveals that he was knowingly seeking the best place in Riga – slightly away from the bustle, but at the same time close to the centre. And the perfect location for the kebab shop was found in the 26VESETAS neighbourhood.
